AFFORDABLE HOUSING
INCREASE INCLUSION
I want our Florida residents to have the chance to buy first. Our current Governor promotes big business and tourism at large while leaving our own hard-working, tax-paying Floridians behind.
I want to regulate the buying power and give it back to the people. Investment institutions such as BlackRock, located in New York City, realize our home state's value and have been purchasing single-family homes and rent-to-own real estate companies while offering up to 25% higher than the asking price.

Overseeing these transactions isn't a tamper with the market; however, these companies are price gouging and capitalizing on families in desperate need of housing. Our people cannot compete with this. Let's level the playing field together.
HOUSING IS A HUMAN RIGHT
INCREASE ELIGIBILITY
Post-pandemic, Florida now has
the third-largest homeless population in the country.
We're living in unprecedented times. One of many takeaways from us all experiencing the Covid-19 pandemic is the housing insecurity our state experiences.
We now know the repercussions of the lack of focus on the basic needs of our people. Housing is a human right.
I'd like to increase eligibility, focusing on returning citizens. Once time is served, you should be allowed to participate in the pursuit of happiness, return to the workforce, and have a home to call your own.
All sentences are life sentences in this regard. Background checks or credit reports, at times, lead to homelessness. We need to set new procedures to ensure that our streets stay clear and safe for all people, starting with housing.
